Planning to visit Richland? Here’s what to expect.

Richland Church is a faith community of hope rooted in Christ’s love. Everything we do reflects this.

Here’s what to expect when you attend!

Welcome to Richland Church at 60 Pomeroy Rd Athens Ohio!

We’re so glad you’re here!

First, make your way up the drive way to our parking lot.

And feel free to park anywhere you’d like. Handicap parking & guests up front.

Then come on over to the entrance down our welcome walkway. Wheelchair accessible and we’d love to assist if needed.

Upon entering, someone from our welcome team will greet you with a smile (under our masks if there is an issued mask mandate) and a service bulletin.

Our lobby is a great place to hang out before the service begins. The nursery is on the left and the bathroom is at the end of the hallway.

Here is our nursery! The nursery team is Safe Sanctuary Trained to care for your children and teach them about Jesus, while you enjoy Sunday Worship.

Don’t forget to check out our info table of events happening at Richland.

And grab a pastry and coffee as well!

It’s almost time to begin the service, enter into the sanctuary and get ready for worship to begin. The services last approximately 45 minutes and include a combination of contemporary and traditional worship music, always preaching from the bible, and a positive environment.

You may sit anywhere you’d like and feel free to fill out a connect card to get more connected with Richland Church. We also have an online connect card under the ‘Get Connected’ menu bar.

Worship begins with opening music to focus our minds, hearts, and souls on meeting together and celebrating what God is doing in our lives.

Have kids but they’re too old for the nursery? Don’t worry we have a children’s church during Sunday Service as well! Ages 4+ meet in our Fellowship Hall (church basement) and outside (weather permitting).

Each service we offer an opportunity for members of Richland Church and anyone else who chooses to give financially to what God is doing at Richland. But if you are a guest, feel free to make your Connection Card your offering.
